I ask you, WHAT OTHER KIND OF CHICKEN IS THERE? When’s the last time you heard of a flock of wild chickens captured and used for dog food? Never, I warrant.
While I have nothing against farms, and I am happy that chicken is the number one ingredient in Beneful’s dog food, the fact that it is “farm-raised” only makes me laugh.
I have missed this one! I love judging commercials too!
I think it’s a rather new commercial. I just saw it for the first time last weekend. So lucky you, maybe you’ll still get to see it! 🙂
LOL! Free range? We call it “Kampung Chicken” here ie fed organic treats and roam about like the village of yester years. The buzz word now is “organic” – everything is labelled organically grown! But I know that certification is not easy and so, it is just a marketing gimmick! Plus my rubber mouth will not be able to tell the difference as everything tastes the same to me. I do not have a discerning palate unfortunately LOL!
HI “Garfield!” Here in the States companies can’t label things as organic unless the product is certified. Sounds like that’s not a requirement in your country. The equivalent we have here is when companies state that ingredients are “natural.” Just another marketing gimmick!
Same here, but yet people try and give it all sorts of “naturally” sounding labelling. I learnt in Australia and New Zealand, it is very stringent too and errant vineyards are taken to task too.
